Series this time.
- Name 3 of your favorite series.
- Name 3 series you think went on too long.
- Name 3 books you wish had been series.
As previously, I'll post my answers in a few days. If you play, post your answers here or post them on your blog and leave the link here.
Okay, I filled in mine on my blog. . . though I cheated and listed more than 3 favorite series. (Couldn't help it!)
ReplyDeleteAnd the URL is? Help an easily confused person out here. Where's your blog?
ReplyDelete3 series - Lydia Chin/Bill Smith by S J Rozan; Kate Shugak by Dana Stabenow, Alan Gregory by Stephen White, Sharon McCone by Marcia Muller and I know that's not 3. Tomorrow I'll have more, and they might be different.
ReplyDeleteOnes that should have ended? Heh, heh, Little Ms. Snarky says Robert B Parker's Spenser and Elizabeth George's Lynley et al. I also tired of P D James' Dalgieish books ago, though I bet I'm in a minority there. I'm sure I have more but that's way harder.
And ditto with things I wish had become series. Tough one to think of. Every so often someone will say "whatever happened to Susan Wolfe?" and a bunch of us will remember a book called The Last Billable Hour, which got an Edgar for best first back in '90 and we hoped for more. Can't recall any others but if someone would suggest, maybe it would start up my motor. I mean I've just read a couple "first mysteries" that I can hope WILL becomes series but they're so new, who knows?

These are tough but good ones! I've put my answers on my blog, but I cheated a little bit (you'll see). :)
