Of Interest

Well, at least of interest to me.

Jonathan Lethem, an author I enjoy immensely, will be resurrecting an obscure Marvel Comics superhero series from the mid-'70s called "Omega the Unknown." In 2006, Lethem's 10-issue version will be published, then collected into a graphic novel.

    Cool- In an art (teaching) workshop the instructor referred to Marvel comics as a way to practice figure drawing. I'm familiar with the comics but not in detail so I don't know of that superhero. Happy for you!

    I never heard of that character, either and much as I enjoy Lethem's novels, I don't know if I'll buy the comic. I thought I'd pass on the news, tho. :)
