The stats for the 2 blogs I can see search terms for (on Blog Patrol) are usually boring. Cyber Chocolate comes up for a lot of chocolatey searches, and this blog gets hits from searches for Percy Bysshe Shelley and particular book titles. But the following had me going hmmmmm..... (My comments appear in brackets.)

10/05/2005 05:13:13 gigantic tics (Google) [Okay, I don't get this one at all. Had I mentioned tics here?]
07/05/2005 18:57:40 bullshit night suck blog (Google) [And someone wants to find this why? Even more to the point, what does it mean? Google would be so thrilled with this excellent use of their service.]
07/05/2005 15:59:11 5 row bookshelf building (Google) [Uh, right. Hey, folks, I buy my shelving ready made.]
07/05/2005 12:16:36 how to make books look good on the shelf (Google) [I usually just stick 'em on the shelves spine out so I can see what they are.]

I dread to think what my link through searches are, every time I read a post like this I get more scared to check!

Shelly, there's actually a memoir out called Another Bullshit Night in Suck City (and no, I haven't read it). I'm assuming the searcher was looking for a discussion of that particular book on a blog.

  3. You're right, sfp. I totally forgot about that. Hmmmm.... did that ever get mentioned here? I can't imagine why that search led here otherwise.
