I'm sure I blogged about this somewhere, but can't remember on which blog. In any case, Bryon Preiss, writer, book packager, publisher, et al, was killed a week or so ago in a car accident. He was 52. He was instrumental in helping graphic novels gain acceptance.
I remembered that I have some of his graphic novels. I also have some hardcover books he produced, but these Fiction Illustrated issues are among my favorite reads. These two pictured are digests. I have one that's larger, the size of a magazine.
