Ack. I can't believe I kept forgetting to answer this month's questions. So, finally, here they are.

Reading Habits: Have your reading habits changed over the years?

  1. Do you read more, less, or approximately the same amount? Less, unfortunately
  2. Do you read different types of books or different genres now than before? I went through a spy phase and then science fiction almost exclusively, and in the '90s, I decided to read a bit more widely again. I do tend to binge read at times, like my current obsession with Minette Walters.
  3. Do you read as much, at different times, in different places than you used to? Not really. Except that I used to read a lot at night, books mostly, and now if I read at night, it's blogs and comics. My book reading is mostly on my subway commute, at the gym, and sometimes, while eating dinner.
Bonus Question: Have you developed any reading superstitions or routines? Not unless my reluctance to read library books or others that have been read by other people first. I like being the first to read a book and prefer to buy my own copies.

  1. 1. Much More

    2. Mostly SF/Fantasy but really all Fiction. Not too many Non-Fiction.

    3. Usually in the mornings and late at nights, but usually I wake up early before work to read.

    4. I hate to say it, but I've picked up bathroom reading. Don't worry, I won't let you borrow any. (:

  2. LOL. I read magazines in the bathroom. Always have, ever since I was a kid and we kept National Geographic and Reader's Digest there.

  3. A bathroom just seems naked without a magazine rack in it!
