Wow that's a difficult meme I try to swop and change authors regularly so not sure if any fall into the 10 or more...will have to have a look I'm inspired now!

  2. I like to alternate authors I read, too. And many of the ones I read haven't written 10 books. :)

That is a hard one. Like you said, several of my favorites haven't written that many.

Off the top I can name Marcia Muller, Laurie R. King, Stephen White, Bill Pronzini, Dana Stabenow, Ursula Le Guin, Peter Dickinson, Tony Hillerman, Madeleine L'Engle, Jeremiah Healy. Possibly Sue Grafton, but I quit some time ago. Probably Marge Piercy, though I haven't found the last ones I tried to work for me. Probably Stephen Saylor, Lindsay Davis, In some cases I just don't have an idea how many someone's written (and am too lazy at the moment to go find all their webpages to count), but I'm at least close to 10 with Charlaine Harris, Walter Mosley, Eleanor Taylor Bland, Linda Barnes, Jan Burke, Margaret Maron, Laura Lippman, Peter Robinson, and Barbara Seranella (don't think she's had 10 books published yet).

  5. Ack. I forgot about Bill Pronzini. I've read lots and lots of his Nameless Detective books. How could I forgot him? Thanks for reminding me, Andi. :)

Hi Shelly. Is it possible for you to credit the originator of the meme here? It was started by A Flickering Light, and as I was the evil-doer who started sending it around, I feel awful that he's not getting any credit for such a thoughtful idea. Sorry if this is a cheeky request.

  7. Well, you just did, Vanessa! One thing I've learned about memes is that once they leave their origin blog, the originator usually gets lost, with the blog it was seen on being credited. It's the same with link blogs -- hard to know who found anything first. I'm always happy to give proper credit, but usually, I have no clue who started a meme unless I got it from the meme blog itself.

I came up with ten authors and posted them on my site.
