Booked by 3 for May

I hope I haven't asked any of these before.

1. How? How do you find books to read? Reviews? Recommendations? Favorite Authors? Other?

2. Where? Where do you get your books? Independent bookstores? Chain stores? Online? Library?

3. When? Or more accurately, how often? How many books on average do you get or buy each month?

Answer here in the comments or leave a link there to your answers in your blog. I'll post my answers by the weekend.

    Hi!
    I just discovered your blog!
I have a book recommendation for you. I haven't had a chance to read much of your blog yet (I'm reading the posts backwards and got to here!), so I don't know your reading tastes very well, but I will recommend anyway.

I recently read a book called "The Time Traveller's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. It is *fantastic*. It was so good that as soon as I had finished reading it, I started again. I just couldn't bear to part with the characters I had gotten to know.

It is about a man names Henry who has "Chrono-displacement disorder" - meaning that he time travels without being able to control it.

It is really hard to describe how great this book is. I'm sure you have already heard of it, but if you haven't, trust me, it is a great read!

  11. Hi, Kirsten,
I'd say you figured out my tastes pretty well. I just got my Quality Paperback Book Club copy of "The Time Traveller's Wife" a few months ago and it's on the stack. Never mind that the "stack" numbers in the hundreds of books here waiting to be read. :)
Thanks for commenting. I hope you give the Booked by 3 meme a try, too.
