End of Summer Booked by 3

It's been a while, so I thought I'd try another 3 questions.

1. How many books have you read this summer?

2. Where is the most unusual place you read or have read?

3. Are there any new or forthcoming books you're eager to read?

I'll post my answers in a couple of days.

Yay! I love book blogs :)

I've read 4-5 this summer. I guess the weirdest place I've read is in the lobby of the Denver Cash Register building, pigeons pecking nearby. That was during lunch one day.

I'm anxious to read Patchett's Bel Canto and Neil Gaiman's new one.

I never keep lists - apparently many people do - but I'd guess I've read somewhere around 50 books this summer, if you start summer techically with June. I've read and reviewed about 20 or more books, so extrapolating from that (all the ones I haven't reviewed, for example, but read and returned to the library) I read everywhere, but I don't go to weird places so I don't have an entry in the "weird places" category.
What I'm looking most forward to reading; hmmmmm. I have a new one I'll be reading for review called LEAVE ME ALONE, I'M READING - I hope it's as good as it sounds like it could be; and funny thing, but like Holly, I'm listing Pratchett and Gaiman as 2 authors on my list . I read a lot of mystery and hesitate to name any titles since a number of books I really was anticipating reading the past few months did NOT work for me. I see down the list at the end of the year a new one by Michael Allen Dymmoch in her Caleb/Thinnes series (yay) and a new Abe Lieberman by Kaminsky next year, but I'm not seeing too much for fall.

  3. Hi, Holly,
I've got Bel Canto here to read, too. It's one I'd like to get to this year.

Wow, Andi, you sure do read a lot. That's more than I used to read even when I had the time.

Thanks both of you for playing.
