My Booked by 3 Answers

1. How many books did you read last year? 16. A decent year but not great.

2. Which one was your favorite? I'm never good at picking favorites, but I'm really glad I read Philip Roth's The Plot Against America. And it was great having Michael Marshall's Blood of Angels to read this year, plus any of the Minette Walters could be a fav.

3. Which one did you like the least? In a great reading year, I'd have to say Bill Pronzini's Nightcrawlers and Laura Lippman's Every Secret Thing (for the almost weak ending) were the weaker books and I loved them both.

We balance each other. I find Minette Walters unreadable and Every Secret Thing led my "best of 2004" list. Ah, taste, don't ya just love it?
I've read almost all of Pronzini's stuff but not that one.

  2. I've always said reading and good/bad books is a subjective thing. But we both love Pronzini, right? :)
