I'm fiddling with the look of this place. I was browsing some sites that have Blogger template linkware and really liked this one so I snagged it. Then I had to figure out what to do with it. I've always wanted at least one nice 3-column blog and this one was the most minimalist so I figured it would be easy to switch over. Hope folks like how it looks. :)
I love the new look!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tania. I thought this template was so striking, I had to use it. And I'd never have been able to code something like this myself.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted one with three columns too... no luck yet so far though. Maybe once i've learned more HTML/CSS I can make my own designs! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute! I like the little person with the book a lot. She looks like the sort of "good side" of the South Park characters.
ReplyDeleteI rely on journalscape - it's SO simple which is sort of what I need. But you can't believe how long I took last year choosing the color scheme! But I mean adding graphics even like your little mug there? Wow - I'm so not at that level!
I had that South Park character I made on a South Park avatar site on the old template, but down a bit on the sidebar. I like having her up top. She's one of the favs I've made.
ReplyDeleteChoosing color schemes can kill off a day or 2 for sure. I like these colors, but I'm sure I'll tweak them at some point.
Oooh! I like very very much!
ReplyDeleteLoving the new look. I'm usually resistant to change, but I really like the way it looks.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Piksea. I get tired/bored of the templates and wanted this blog to look more different than the others. I'm glad everyone likes it (well, everyone who's bothered to comment). :)
ReplyDeleteI love it too! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteNice new look! The colors here remind me of those lux wood-paneled libraries with leather chairs.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I was hoping it looked bookish. :)
