And since I found a neato link for Book Plates, I decided to make it this month's Booked by 3 theme, that of marking your books in some way to show they belong to you.
- Do you use bookplates (For those who don't know, they're nice designs on paper you glue into books to claim them as yours)?
- Do you write your name in your books?
- Do you attach stickers with your name and / or other info into your books?

I stamp mine with my name in purple ink like libraries, the purple will not fad as much as other colors. Since I started stamping the top spine and bottom spine based on a recommendation I not get back about 90% of the books I lend out, as opposed to about 60% before started stamping them.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of when I was a kid. I'd make my own library pockets for books and when I lent them to friends, I put in a due date card. Guess I was meant to become a librarian. :)
